A great day for JKS England at the Northern Open Classic in Warrington
Following their success at the EKF National Championships at the end of March, the JKS England Squad made their way to Warrington on Sunday on Sunday 11th May for the high quality Northern Open Classic under WKF rules. The event proved very fruitful for the squad who came away with 6 Gold, 6 Silver and 13 Bronze medal positions.
Their were too many good performances to mention them all but we got Gold, Silver and Bronze in Male Kata and the same in Pee Wee Kata, as well as Silver and both Bronze medal positions in Male Team Kumite.
Emelye O'Brien took Gold in Cadet Kumite and led her team to Gold in the Team Kumite event. Rowan Reeve had similar success in Pee Wee Kata and Pairs Kata.
All in all a very good day and an excellent warm up for the big event next weekend, the British Championships in Glasgow!
