Supporting Karate Clubs Everywhere During Challenging Times
Across the world we are experiencing unprecedented disruption and concern as a result of COVID-19.
Everyone is affected. At times like these we need to come together and support each other in the karate community as we are doing in our wider communities.
During this period we at JKS England ask everyone to keep safe and to look after the vulnerable in society.
Club Support
The current situation is changing rapidly, but what is clear is that many clubs are experiencing anxiety and potential difficulties. The situation is fluid and is changing rapidly.
At the JKS we have liased with our advisors to come up with initial guidance and advice for our clubs during this time. This has been communicated privately to club owners that are affiliated to the JKS. However, as these are unprecedented times we need to come together as a karate community around the world more than ever. With this in mind, the advice has been published so that any club around the world can read it and hopefully take some ideas away that may help them weather the current storm.

Future Plans
Going forward we are keeping abreast of the situation and are putting plans in place to update our karate specific guidance over the coming weeks and months as appropriate. We will support the karate community as much as possible during this challenging time.
The karate community is reknowed for strong Sensei and dedicated members who can weather adversity and come out stronger for it. By standing together and supporting one another we can set a positive example, move forward and lead the wider community through this crisis.
