Success at the BKF International Open
JKS England took a Squad to compete at the Annual BKF International Open in Scotland over the weekend of 14th and 15th September. A great weekend overall saw us take a very credible 5 Gold, 5 Silver and 7 Bronze medals. This saw us finish 5th in the medal table, a great result when there are 74 Associations taking part with 1,015 entries.
A special mention goes to the individual Gold medalists Remi Jurgilaitis in Male Senior Kumite -75Kg, Henry Pegge in Male Cadet Kumite +70Kg and Sharif Ebrahimi in Male Veteran Kata.
Also a big congratultaions to Senior JKS England instructor Nick Heald 7th Dan whopassed his assessment and achieved his Kumite Referee B and Kata Judge B qualifications. A big well done!
