Another addition to the JKS England coaching team
JKS England is proud to announce that Ben Richardson Sensei is now officially part of the coaching setup of the JKS England National Squad.
Ben who this year graded to 5th Dan under Kagawa Shihan at the JKS International Cup, also holds Black Belts in both Jeet Kune Do and Kali and a Brown Belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Ben also holds an M.Sc. in Sport and Exercise Science, specialising in Training theory and fitness methods.
Ben has been training in karate for 32 years and has successfully competed for a number of years for JKS England, whilst running Can Do Martial Arts Dojo in Oxfordshire where he is a professional coach.
Ben had a fantastic domestic career, taking the British Karate Federation and British International Open Veteran titles. He was a JKS World Bronze Medallist, EKF Silver Medalist and won Bronze at Senior level at the Budapest International Open.
Ben Sensei will be joining head coach Matt Price Sensei and Ashley Scott-Heald, in order to assist and apply his own unique knowledge on martial arts to the benefit of the squad.
