On Tuesday 25th June the Walsall School of Shotokan Karate was privileged to host a course at the new Walsall Karate Dojo, organised by JKS England with Takashi Yamaguchi 7th Dan from the JKS Headquarters in Tokyo, Japan.

The Dojo Kun, hand painted by Yamaguchi Sensei,
presented to Walsall Karate Dojo on
behalf of JKS England. An amazing gift.
Sensei taught 2 courses at the new dojo and was assisted by Alan Campbell 6th Dan JKS and Chief Instructor for England.
The course was organised to mark the official opening of the new full time dojo in Walsall. It is the biggest Martial arts facility in Walsall and the surrounding areas.

The Walsall School of Shotokan Karate had spent over 5 months renovating the dojo and all work was completed by its members and close friends. It was a fantastic effort and the course was a fantastic evening to mark the event.

80 students participated on the course.
The atmosphere in the dojo was electric
and they were treated to top
quality tuition by Yamaguchi Sensei
and Alan Sensei.
