JKS Youngsters Shine in Nottingham

On Saturday 8th February, JKS youngsters from around the country gathered in Nottingham for the 2014 Young Children’s Competition.

The competition was hosted by Seibukan Karate Club and was specifically for kyu grades of 13 years and below.

The annual competition is an ideal opportunity for JKS children to have a go at competing in a small, friendly, safe and controlled atmosphere.

The day proved very successful. JKS England Chief Instructor Alan Campbell commented "It was a pleasure to see so many young children taking part in the 2014 young children's competition, with around 100 competitors, they were told that they would be the stars of the day and they didn't disappoint. Well done to them all and many thanks to the parents for supporting them, to the coaches and especially the officials on the day who made everything run so smoothly"
