JKS Squad Competition results
Forty four JKS England Squad members gathered in Leeds on Sunday 2nd February for the second ever Squad competition. There were some very good performances.
Lee Lamb took a good win in the Adults Kata event, which followed on from his win at the JKS Nationals in November. This confirms him as presently the Squads top Kata competitor.
Ashley Scott won the Female Kumite category in what was her third competition of the year, having already taken part in the Wasquehal International Open in France and the Reykjavik International Games in Iceland during January.
Ashley and Lee will both be competing at the WKF Premier League event, the Dutch Open, in Almere, Holland next month. Good luck to the pair of them!
Emelye O'Brien won the Girls Kumite in good style. The whole Squad gave her a round of applause to wish her well as she was leaving to go to Portugal the following day. She will be competing for England in the EKF Cadet & Junior Europeans in Lisbon.
