Congratulations to Emelye O'Brien on making the EKF National Team

JKS England Team member Emelye O'Brien has become the first competitor from the association to be selected to represent the English Karate Federation internationally.
Leeds Karate Academy member Emily who has a string of national titles to her name will be competing in the European Karate Federation Junior and Cadets Championships in 2014.
The event will be held on 7-8-9 February in Lisbon and is the top event in Europe for competitors under the age of 21.
Emily is representing the England kumite squad in the Female Cadets +54kgs category. She is one of only fourteen karateka selected for the event.
