2020 JKS England squad selected

Sunday 2nd February saw the JKS England head coach Matt Price Sensei, assisted by Ashley Scott-Heald and Ben Richardson Sensei's select the JKS Squad for the 2020 season.

The selection and training took place at the Leeds Karate Academy Hombu dojo. Karateka came from all over the country hoping to become a part of this highly successful and respected squad. Three squads were selected a 10-15 years Junior Kumite Squad, 16 years plus Senior Kumite Squad and a Kata Squad. Those successful were categorised as A Squad or B Squad (A Squad elite, B Squad developmental).

All squad members can now look forward to a busy years training and competing with next years big JKS Championships in Brazil already on the horizon.
